Launch of the ‘Social Impact Initiatives of U.S. Companies in Egypt’ Report
Speaking at the launching of the Report on the Social Impact Initiatives of U.S. companies in Egypt put together by the U.S.-Egypt Business Council in Washington, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham), Ambassador Zahran highlighted Egypt’s 3.6% growth rate and many other promising economic indicators as clear signs of Egypt’s economic resilience in the midst of COVID-19. He lauded Egypt-U.S. business partnerships as well as the benefits of U.S. companies operating in Egypt that contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives, stressing that “businesses can truly and sustainably expand, only when they grow together with the communities in which they operate.”
