Kindly note that processing occurs on two stages:

First stage: Applicant mail in (copies only) or present (Original and copies) for listed requirements below for pre-approval. Processing time for that stage is a minimum of 6-8 weeks. All applicants are advised not to make any travel plans until contacted by the visa section.

Second Stage: If approved, applicants will be contacted to submit required documents and fees. Processing time will be 10 business days once the documents are received.

Visa On Arrival

Visa applicants (except of the listed nationalities here) are advised to get the visa in advance from the Egyptian consulate that serves their state if they have the required documents with respect to the processing time of the consulate

Applicants getting the visa at the airport must do/have the following:

Passport valid more than 6 months at arrival
US Green Card valid for more than 6 months
Confirm with the airlines that they can be boarded on the plane without a visa

Kindly note that the Egyptian customs have the right to deny at entry.
