Minister of finance and Minister of International Cooperation visited Washington D.C. during the period from 8^th to 10^th of November 2015. Ministers met with United States Secretary of Treasury and the top executives of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

Ministers explored the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to implement the economic reform program started two years ago, and its positive outcomes on the macroeconomic indicators. Ministers affirmed the willingness of the government to work to achieve the economic development that meets the aspirations of the Egyptian People.

The United States, World Banks, and IMF’ officials praised the efforts of the Egyptian government and welcomed the development in Egypt’s macroeconomic indicators. They also recommitted to support Egypt in its path to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian People.
