تهدى سفارة جمهورية مصر العربية فى واشنطن – القسم القنصلى- أطيب تحياتها واتساقا مع التدابير الاحترازية المطبقة فى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لمكافحة تفشى الفيروس (COVID-19)وإعلان حالة الطوارئ فى البلاد والجهود الجماعية الرسمية والمجتمعية للمساهمة فى مكافحة الوباء والحد من انتشاره،

ومن منطلق حرص السفارة على الاضطلاع بدورها ازاء السادة المواطنين والمساهمة فى الجهود المجتمعية لمكافحة المرض، فقد تقرر استمرار تعليق تلقى المعاملات بالحضور الشخصى بالقسم القنصلى حتى إشعار آخر ، وسوف يتم إعادة تقدير الموقف ونشر المستجدات تباعًا وفقًا للتطورات وما يُتخذ من اجراءات فى الولايات المتحدة الامريكية.
لذا تهيب السفارة بالسادة المواطنين تجنب الحضور الشخصى الى مقر القسم القنصلى بالسفارة الا فى حالات الضرورة القصوى فقط (الوفيات والحالات الطارئة).

هذا وتؤكد السفارة استمرار اتمام كافة المعاملات التى تتم عبر البريد على النحو المعتاد وبنفس الوتيرة، وفقًا للضوابط الموضحه على الموقع الاليكترونى للسفارة:

وإذ تؤكد السفارة الحرص على إستمرار الاضطلاع بالمهام والواجب المنوط بها إزاء المواطنين لترجو من الجميع التفهم والتعاون بشأن ما تقدم، حرصًا على المصلحة العامة.

The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Washington D.C – Consular Section – presents its best regards, and in line with the precautionary measures applied in the USA to combat the outbreak of the (COVID-19) virus, along with the declaration of the state of emergency.
In the context of contribution to the collective efforts combating the virus and limiting its possible spread;
It is decided to extend our temporarily suspension of receiving transactions in person in the consular section until further notice. The situation should be re-assessed and updates published successively according to the developments and the measures taken in the USA.
The Embassy calls upon all citizens, to avoid personal attendance at the consular section except in cases of extreme necessity (death cases and emergency cases).
The Embassy confirms that all Consular Services conducted by mail shall continue as usual and at the same pace, according to the regulations set out on the Embassy’s website: egyptembassy.net/consular-services.
With the possibility to coordinate the reception of emergency and utmost necessity cases, as well as receiving any inquiries via the E-mail: consulate@egyptembassy.net or through direct communication on the Consular Section page on Facebook, or through the phone numbers available on the Embassy’s website.
The embassy reaffirms its commitment to fulfill it’s duties towards all citizens, requests the kind understanding and cooperation on the current temporary situation, for all public interest.
