On Friday July 31^st, 2015 Ambassador Tawfik welcomed a group of students from the University of Maryland studying Arabic language and culture as part of the University’s summer program. A reception was held followed by a discussion between the Ambassador and the Students. They discussed politics, the arts, diplomacy and Egyptian history and culture, as well as Strategic relations between the United States and Egypt.
